Milroy J. Samuel, M.D. ABPM, ABOG

Dr. Milroy J. Samuel is a native of Central Ohio. He began his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University, earning his B.S./B.A. in Finance.

He earned his Medical Degree from Meharry Medical College in 1997 and completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) at The Ohio State University.

In 2000, Dr. Milroy J. Samuel was recognized for his excellence and efficiency by being named Chief Resident at The Ohio State University, a distinction worthy of high praise and recognition.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Dr. Milroy J. Samuel was recruited by several area hospital healthcare staffing agencies, but he opted to join his father in private practice instead. Through his experience and expertise, the concept of a comprehensive women’s healthcare center was formed.He brought his vision of using the most cutting edge technology and innovative techniques to fruition at Complete Healthcare for Women.

To date, Dr. Milroy J. Samuel has devoted his career to the practice and he continues to embrace progressive developments in women’s healthcare. He is a regular contributor to PregnancyCorner.com.

He is a member of The Columbus OBGYN Society and The International Society of Cosmetogynecology. Dr. Samuel is both a Board Certified Additionologists in Drug Treatment Medicine and Obstetrics/Gynecology. He holds additional memberships with The Fellow American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is a Diplomat of The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Madison D. Baxter MSN, APRN, NP-C

Board Certified American Association of Nurse Practitioners

Madison D. Baxter MSN, APRN, NP-C, was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Jerome High School in 2012, then continued her studies in Cincinnati, OH at the University of Cincinnati where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016.

She completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner in August 2020 at the University of Cincinnati. Her experience includes five years of acute care nursing at a level 1 trauma center, University of Cincinnati Medical Center. She is now certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Madison currently resides in Columbus, Ohio.

Deven Riley, MSN, APRN, NP-C

She graduated from Mount Carmel College of Nursing in 2021. She has worked in addiction medicine and mental health for the past two years. She is actively pursing a post graduate degree for Psych Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her approach to patient care is always centered around providing individualized treatment.

Kefyalew (Kef) R Gobena, MSPAS, PA-C

He graduated from Case Western Reserve University PA Program in 2021. He completed pre-PA course works at CSCC in Columbus, Ohio.

Kefyalew is NCCPA certified advanced practitioner and is a member of AAPA and OAPA. He practiced family medicine at Green Primary Care Cleveland Clinic Akron General and primary care ophthalmology (oculoplatics) at OSU.

He has completed MAT training and is able to provide treatment for a variety of substance use disorders.

He also worked as certified pharmacy technician for Walmart pharmacy in Columbus for 4 years and 4 months before he joined PA school.

Kefyalew completed his MD and ophthalmology residency program at Addis Ababa University and practiced general ophthalmology for 8 years in Ethiopia before he came to the United States in March 2012.

Kefyalew lives in Columbus Ohio with his wife and two children.

Sarita Salzberg, MD

Dr. Salzberg is a Fellow of the Society of Addiction Medicine with years of clinical experience in a variety of settings.

She is Board Certified in Addiction Medicine, a Fellow of the Society of Addiction Medicine and Board Certified in Family Medicine with an MPH in Occupational Medicine.

She earned a BA in Economics from the Ohio State University. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from the Ohio State University and her MPH from the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Daniel Bloch, MD, FAAFP, DABSM, FASAM

Dr. Daniel Bloch is a native of Buffalo, New York. He attended Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where he received his AB and MD degrees.

He completed a residency in family medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston, in 1980, and has been a board-certified family physician since then, receiving the degree of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians in 2019.

Dr Bloch qualified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine in 2006 and the American Board of Addiction Medicine in 2016; he is a Fellow of the ASAM.

Matthew Kessler, PA-C

Matthew Kessler, PA-C, grew up in Reynoldsburg, OH, graduating from RHS in 2005. He studied at Marietta College and worked in orthopedics in the Mid-Ohio Valley before moving closer to family in central Ohio.

He has a bachelor’s in Political Science and underwent trauma medic training in the United States Army.

Dr Thomas Nguyen

Dr Thomas Nguyen graduated Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He received his Medical Degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Dr Nguyen completed his Urology Residency at the Penn State University College of Medicine where he served as Chief Resident. In 2009, he completed his Addiction Medicine Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. Subsequently, he was instrumental in establishing the Buprenorphine Clinic in 2009 and the Methadone Clinic in 2011 at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine where he served as Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry. Dr Nguyen is Board Certified in Addiction Medicine since 2009 and he has been in private practice before joining Complete Care in December, 2024. He is married and enjoys hiking and training in Taekwondo in which he holds a Second Degree Blackbelt.

Michelle M. Spears MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Board Certified American Nurses Credentialing Center

Michelle M. Spears is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) who was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and currently resides in Dublin, OH. She graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 1992 and took time to raise her children before returning to school at Chamberlain College of Nursing where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012. She started her nursing career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She was also a nursing instructor for both Columbus State Community College and Foris College where she taught in the clinical, laboratory, and classroom settings. Michelle returned to Chamberlain College of Nursing to further her education and earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner in 2017. She has spent her career as a nurse practitioner in retail health, regenerative medicine, and addiction medicine. She is currently completing her doctor of nursing practice (DNP) and post-master’s certificate for psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) at the University of Cincinnati. Michelle is passionate about addiction medicine and believes in meeting her clients’ where they are and providing whole-patient-centered care.

Mervyn J. Samuel, M.D., ABOG (Retired)

Board Certified Obstetrics/Gynecology

Dr. Mervyn J. Samuel is a long-time resident of the Columbus Metropolitan area.

He earned his Medical degree from Christian Medical College in Vellore and completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBGYN), at The Ohio State University in 1973.

Dr. Mervyn J. Samuel is married and has three children. He resides in the central Ohio area.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Early in his career, Dr. Mervyn J. Samuel served as the Senior House Surgeon for General Surgery, Cardiology and the ER.

He also spent several years working to help unwed teenage mothers both at Bethune Center and at Children’s Hospital as the chief physician of the teenage clinic division.

Dr. Mervyn J. Samuel holds licenses in Ceylon, India, Britain, Vermont, and Ohio, gaining Board Specialty in both Great Britain and the United States.

A well respected physician, Dr. Mervyn J. Samuel was a co-author for several publications including; “Clinical Pharmacology in Obstetrics And Gynecology” and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University.
